Brother Silas Tumly, SVD - R.I.P.

1947 - 2012

Bro. Silas marked with a red dot. He was one of our Botswana pioneers. This picture was taken most probably in 1983.

Bro. Silas was a keen photographer, and as it is often the case with photographers, they take pictures of others but very few take pictures of them.

I hope we will find more images with Silas.

On the 17th January 2012 we had a family feast in Francistown. Little did we know that it would be the last celebration with Bro. Silas. He was still strong, even competing and having fun. In the evening we had the last bingo with him. We will miss his magic tricks and community spirit.
