Died: 9th February 2012 in Fracistown in Botswana
This picture of Bro. Silas was take during our family feast in Francistown, on the 17th January 2012.
Soon after that Bro. Silas got ill and was taken to hospital.

Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Amen.

i have been among the last 'victims' of Br. Silas' magic. his charming personality is still vivid in my mind. may the almight God grant unto him eternal rest...You have run your race,your reward is eternal life!

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

The HOLY EUCHARIST for Bro. Silas, SVD, will be celebrated on Monday, 13th February 2012, at St. Bridget Catholic Mission in Tonota, at 6:00 p.m.

After the Holy Mass there will be a prayer vigil - tebelelo.

The Funeral of Bro. Silas, SVD, will be on Tuesday, 14th February 2012. The funeral celebrations will start in Tonota at 5:30 a.m., from the Catholic Mission - then the conduct will proceed to Francistown.

The actual funeral will be in Francistown, at the Provincial House of the Divine Word Missionaries.
